I wrote my first poem at the age of six and have loved writing ever since. In my twenties, managing my own beauty salons and running my own beauty school, I regularly wrote for an International Therapy magazine. Later, I had a change of career and gaining a degree in Drama, taught performing arts at a variety of colleges and enjoyed lecturing in the art of script writing, radio plays and children's theatre. I have directed and acted in many plays in theatre, worked in television and now a children's author. I live in Shropshire and share my love of books with my son Elliot.
